SKG offers a branded Internet access solution to organisations who are keen to draw revenue from their existing database of customers or who are looking at new ways to attract customers and retain their loyalty.
The SKG VISP platform allows your company to become an Internet Service Provider. This means that you need not have telecommunications or Internet infrastructure of your own to provide Internet services to your customers. The service is branded to reflect your company's identity so that it will appear to the end-user that the service is your own.
The SKG VISP service enables the sale of Internet access and associated services under an affiliate's brand other than SKG. The services encompass dial-up and adsl access, with on-line registration, billing and reporting functionality.
Key Features
The Affiliate receives:
- A service branded with The Affiliate identity, an ISP service branded as your own
- On-line registration and payment facilities that allow a subscriber to register for the services and download the browser configuration, which will include setting the home-page to that of The Affiliate, and also the dial number, or numbers, for the ISP services.
- Authentication of the subscriber each time they access the services.
- Web interface for your company to manage subscriber accounts, and branding of the subscriber management console.
- Technical Support and Customer Care facilities. Subscriber information and control for the Technical Support help desk.
- Management Information for The Affiliate service. On-line reports that detail the operations of your service.
- Managed email, web space and Newsgroups. Email address will be branded in the name of The Affiliate.
Unless otherwise stated all SKG VISP services include:
Internet access
- ADSL – Residential and Business
- Unmetered Accounts
- 0845
- 7 Email boxes per subscriber, 1.5Mb space per email box.
- Webmail and PoP mail
- 10 MB web space per subscriber account, which shall be permitted to receive an average of 1000 hits per day.
- Over 85,000 Newsgroups.
- Technical Support (charged at 75ppm Premium Rate)
- Support for the following Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 95, 98,2000,NT, XP, 4.0 and ME.
- A web interface for the subscriber to manage their own account
- Modify passwords
- Create / delete / modify own email accounts
- Create / delete own web site
- Create / delete own sub – domain
- Purchase SMS credits
- Purchase domain names
- The subscriber email will be purged after 60 days of non-use.
- Individual email and web space is not backed-up, though system wide failures can be recovered.
